Paul Mitchell

Paul Mitchell was appointed Musical Director of Wadebridge Male Voice Choir in 2008. Paul, a true Cornishman and working farmer born in Redruth, had a musical education at Trutextro Cathedral School and became Head Chorister in the Cathedral Choir, singing solos on BBC Radio and Television.

Following further courses at Bristol University and Exmouth, Paul returned to his native Cornwall to work in the Farming industry. Pauls love of music continued over the years and he was involved with Amateur Operatics and choral singing. In 1995 he was appointed Musical Director of St Austell Male Choir and under his excellent directorship, the choir achieved outstanding success in several music festivals.
